Always five stars in my book, and Steve still owes me a black baseball cap..:) , and collect I will, Steve is, and always has been a great bar owner, and friend, their green chile, and food are excellent, and the beer is always plentiful, and COLD, thanks for many years of great service, and friendship. I now live in Superior, Colorado, but always come to Northern for what I miss most about my home town....see you all on the go around.

Pueblo locals come here for a few things... tomato beers, the ambiance, and mexican food.
My mother used to work here so I used to be a little regular back in the day! New owners took over and its stood some what the same! The food used to be a lot better but they kept the rope lights around the bar! You can catch the hung over people here on Sundays for one thing: MENUDO! Here they have some pretty homemade delicious menudo! Ive had their enchiladas and chicken tacos and both are hit or miss! Their rice is disgusting and watery like Mill Stops so that right there makes me a happy camper!
Another thing locals come for are the large schooner tomato beers! I myself am not a tomato beer girl, but I do love the bartenders and waitstaff. They take care of you and make sure youre happy.
The price is pretty ok, and they have specials!! Go check them out and get some hangover remedy! LOL -

We've been here before, but this time the kitchen was unbearably slow - took nearly 30 minutes to get a cheeseburger and an enchilada plate. The burger was overcooked to the point I would not eat it. It was recooked quickly, but by then the fries were cold and there was no cheese on my cheeseburger. By that time, I just went ahead and ate without complaining further. This was NOT the fault of anyone but the cook - in fact, we overheard one of the waitstaff complaining that food was taking 30 minutes and more - and the place wasn't even busy. I don't know what the cook was doing back there - but plainly he wasn't cooking! We'll go back, but if the kitchen is this slow again we will leave and not return.

My wife and I stopped by on recommendation of friends. We drove down from Colorado Springs to eat and go to the drive in. I was in Klamm's 20 some years ago and it hasn't changed at all. I had the slopper and Momma had the smothered bean burrito. I had asked for no fries so I would have room for popcorn at the movies but I got them anyway. They came out smothered just like the slopper, lots of green chili and cheese. Their green chili is a little mild by Pueblo standards but the flavor is awesome so no complaints here. The service was excellent! My only complaint was someone had pumped the jukebox full of really old country music. Can't hold that against Klamm's though! The bill was under $16 and we both waddled out of there stuffed. Saved a few bucks since I never needed the popcorn!

Old style bar that hasn't changed in nearly 20yrs. If you judge the book by its cover than you will miss out on some good food and cold Cheladas. I had the extra large bowl of posole and it was delicious. Full service kitchen and bar what could be better.
